Spring Championship
Riverside Aquatic Center · Lane 1–8
Youngest swimmers take the blocks for the first time. Coaches on deck, parents cheering from lane 1.
Stars on their backs, eyes on the flags. The backstroke heat that always draws the biggest gasps.
Technique counts here — judges watch every pull, every kick. The crowd goes quiet.
Four strokes, one race. The individual medley separates the specialists from the all-rounders.
Eight kids, four strokes, one banner. The relay that closes every Splash meet.

Chapter One

The First
Practice

Nervous at the pool edge is normal. Excited by the end of the session is universal. Here's everything you need to know before your child dips a toe in.

Young child in swimsuit standing at pool edge, goggles on forehead, looking nervous but excited
First day nerves.
Everyone has them. Promise.

Our coaches spot the edge-huggers in the first five minutes and have them laughing in the water by minute fifteen. No child gets left behind on day one.

Chapter Two

Finding Their
Stroke

Six weeks in, something clicks. The kick synchronises. The breathing evens out. They stop counting lengths and start racing the clock.

Our coaching staff are parents themselves. They understand the difference between pushing a child and breaking one — and they never cross it.

Our Philosophy

How We Coach

🎯
Technique First
We never sacrifice form for speed. A clean freestyle at age 8 becomes a county time at age 12.
🤝
Coach Ratio 1:6
Six swimmers per coach, maximum. Every child gets corrected, encouraged, and celebrated.
📈
Progress Tracked
Every timed length is logged. Parents get a monthly PDF — actual seconds, actual improvement.
